Rover bus rides for seniors now cost less

Seniors utilizing Rover’s Aging Shared Ride services are paying less for rides. Each ride will now cost seniors 75 cents instead of $1. An announcement of the fare reduction was made at last week’s Chester County Commissioners’ Meeting by Wanda Stonebraker, director of the Chester County Department of Aging Services.

Students sought for scholarship

The first census of land trusts in five years found 10 million acres newly conserved nationwide since 2005, including 502,243 acres in Pennsylvania.
