That had to be a heady moment for Fiedler, a German exchange student who had never kicked a football until three weeks earlier.

Avon Grove School Board approves five-year extension for Avon Grove Charter School
By Steve Hoffman Staff Writer The Avon Grove Charter School’s charter has now been expanded through April 11, 2017. The Avon Grove School Board formally approved the renewal of the charter at a meeting on Aug. 25. The charter had been set to expire on April 11, 2012.
